He is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of AFP Planvital, a position from which he leads the investment strategy and manages a diversified portfolio. With over a decade of experience in strategy and trading management, Diego has built a solid track record in the financial sector.

He began his career as a Foreign Exchange (FX) trader before moving into fixed income strategy at AFP Capital. His expertise and leadership skills led him to take on the role of Head of International Investments at AFP Planvital, where he oversees the strategy for alternative assets, international equities, fixed income, and FX derivatives.

Diego holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad de los Andes, earned in 2005. He later completed a Master’s in International Economics and Finance at The University of Queensland, graduating in 2010.
