Interim CEO, Anglo American Chile

Tzveta Tchorbadjieva served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategy within Anglo American’s global team, and previously as Executive Head of Strategy and Business Development for the company’s Base Metals business, a role in which she led, from London, the negotiations behind the Codelco-Anglo American agreement. In June 2026 she became interim Executive President of Anglo American in Chile, the local subsidiary of one of the world’s largest diversified mining companies, leading the company’s copper operations in the country, with a focus on sustainability, technological innovation and community relations.
