Rosanna Costa

Governor of The Central Bank of Chile

Rosanna Costa serves as the governor of the Central Bank of Chile, a position she has held since February 2022, after serving as a board member since 2017. She holds a degree in business administration with a minor in economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her distinguished career in public service and economic policy includes serving as the national budget director at the Ministry of Finance and as the economics program director at the Instituto Libertad y Desarrollo. An expert in fiscal and labor policy, she has been a member of key presidential commissions on pension reform and labor equity, and has served on the boards of the National Productivity Commission and the Senior Public Management System (CADP). Additionally, she has an extensive academic background, teaching economics at both the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Universidad de Chile.
