Paulina Vodanovic

Senator of the Republic of Chile

Paulina Vodanovic Rojas is a prominent Chilean attorney and the current president of the Socialist Party of Chile (PS), a role she has held since 2022. A graduate of the University of Chile with a Master’s in Public Law, she has balanced a career in private litigation and legal academia with high-level public service. Her political trajectory includes serving as the first female Undersecretary for the Armed Forces (2015–2018) and holding key advisory roles in the Ministries of Justice and Defense. Originally appointed to the Senate in 2023 to fill a vacancy, she was subsequently re-elected as Senator for the Maule Region for the 2026–2034 term, where she continues to be a central figure in the country's legislative and partisan leadership.
