Mario Larenas

Country Manager Chile, Freeport-McMoRan

Lawyer from the Universidad de Chile and Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Denver. He currently serves as Country Manager of Freeport-McMoRan in Chile, a position from which he leads the strategic management and representation of the corporation in the country. He has a career path of more than 20 years in the company, having held high-responsibility international roles such as Senior Counsel at the headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, and Legal Director for South America. He is an expert in mining law and transnational corporate management, establishing himself as one of the key leaders of the mining sector in Chile.
