María José Montero

President, ACAFI (Chilean Association of Investment Fund Managers)

María José Montero has been President of ACAFI (the Chilean Association of Investment Fund Managers) since 2026. She holds an economics degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master's in Social Policy from the London School of Economics (Chevening Scholar). She is a director and partner at FIS Ameris AGF, where she has spent more than 13 years, combining her executive role with promoting Chile's investment fund industry.<br />
