Lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and LLM from Columbia University. Partner at Carey, the largest law firm in Chile, co-leading the venture capital, private equity, and investment funds practices. He is President of the Chilean Venture Capital Association and Leader of the Private Equity Group for Latin America at World Services Group. He has been recognized as a leading lawyer in Corporate, M&A, Capital Markets, and Venture Capital by several foreign publications such as Chambers & Partners, Latin Lawyer, and The Legal 500, among others. In 2022, he received the Investment Lawyer of the Year Award from Best Lawyers. He has taught postgraduate courses on corporate law and venture capital at several universities, including the Catholic University of Chile, the University of Los Andes, and the Adolfo Ibáñez University. He is the author of the book “Privileged Information in the Securities Market” (Legal Publishing, 2007) and frequently speaks at seminars and foreign investment events.
