Felipe Larraín
Economist and former Minister of Finance of Chile
Felipe Larraín Bascuñán holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a PhD in Economics from Harvard University. He served twice as Chile's Minister of Finance, between 2010 and 2014, and between March 2018 and October 2019. He currently directs Clapes UC (Centro Latinoamericano de Políticas Económicas y Sociales) and is a professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, in addition to co-authoring, with Jeffrey Sachs, “Macroeconomics in the Global Economy,” and regularly commenting as an analyst on the Chilean and global economy.
