Executive Chair, Banco Santander

Ana Patricia Botín-Sanz de Sautuola O'Shea holds a degree in Economics from Bryn Mawr College (USA). She began her career at JP Morgan in New York and joined Banco Santander in 1988, where she led businesses in Latin America, Spain and the UK. She has served as Executive Chair of Banco Santander since September 2014, one of the largest banks in the eurozone by market capitalization, with a presence across Europe, the Americas and the UK. Under her leadership, the group has deepened its digitalization strategy and its commitment to markets such as Chile, where Santander is one of the leading players in the financial system.
