Diego Masola

EVP & Country Head of Scotiabank Chile and Uruguay

Diego Masola serves as Executive Vice President and Country Head of Scotiabank in Chile and Uruguay.
He is a Certified Public Accountant, graduated from the National University of Mar del Plata, and holds a Master’s degree in Marketing awarded by the National University of the Center of the Province of Buenos Aires and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, including 25 years at Scotiabank, which he joined in 2001. During his tenure, he has held positions of increasing responsibility across Canada and Latin America.
He currently chairs Scotiabank International Banking’s ESG Committee and serves as Global Chair of Scotiabank’s Innovation Council.
Before joining Scotiabank, he held several positions at Banco Francés, Banco de Galicia, and Société Générale in the city of Mar del Plata.
