Cristóbal Silva

Cristóbal Silva Lombardi holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and pursued postgraduate studies at Columbia Business School. He began his career in finance at former President Sebastián Piñera's family office and at asset manager Orbis, after more than a decade investing in public markets. He is Co-Founder and Partner of Kayyak Ventures, today one of Chile's largest venture capital funds — whose first fund reached US$100 million — dedicated to investing in early-stage entrepreneurs, a role he shares with partners Roberto Ibáñez, Manuel Sescosse and Sofía Grez. From this position, he has driven investments in more than twenty companies across the Latin American technology ecosystem.
