Catherine Tornel

Chair, Financial Market Commission (CMF)

Catherine Tornel León holds a Master's in Finance from London Business School (England), specializing in investments and quantitative finance, and studied at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She chairs Chile's Financial Market Commission (CMF), the regulator overseeing banks, insurance and securities markets in the country. From this role, she leads the regulatory agenda for Chile's financial system.
