Edgardo Escobar

Edgardo Escobar Aguirre, Chief Financial Officer at Esmax. Born and raised in Santiago, he is an alumnus of the Alianza Francesa and holds a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Católica, followed by an MBA at Adolfo Ibáñez School of Management in Miami. He began his career in 2002 at LAN Cargo, holding technical and managerial roles in planning, network, and finance, including Network Vice President in Miami. In 2016 he moved to agriculture as finance manager at San José Farms. He joined Esmax in 2018, leading Planning and Development before taking over Administration and Finance in 2021, ahead of his appointment as CFO.
