David Gallagher

Former Chilean Ambassador to the United Kingdom

David Gallagher Patrickson, born in Valparaíso and educated at Oxford University, is a businessman, academic and literary critic, as well as the founder of the investment firm ASSET Chile. He was appointed Chile's Ambassador to the United Kingdom by President Sebastián Piñera, serving from 2018 to 2022. With a distinguished career in the foreign service and academia, he has focused on strengthening the political, commercial and cultural ties between Chile and Europe.
