He is Chairman of the Board of Teletón and the Central Securities Depository (Depósito Central de Valores), and a Board Member of Abastible, Empresas Ultramar, and Grupo Indumotora.
He also serves on the boards of Fundación Protectora de la Infancia and Corporación Adelanto Amigos de Panguipulli.

Additionally, he is a Board Member of InBest and a Counselor at the Fundación Facultad de Economía y Administración of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

He was President of ICARE and of the Capital Markets Advisory Council of the Ministry of Finance between 2017 and 2020.

He is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Management of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. (He was a full-time professor from 1981 to 1994, and a part-time professor from 1995 to the present.)

He previously served as a board member of CFR Pharmaceuticals and AFP Bansander, and worked for 12 years at Grupo Santander Chile, where he held roles such as Head of Equity Research and General Manager of Santander Investment (until 2006).
