Alfonso Duval has been a partner at Moneda Asset Management since 2010 and has served as CEO since June 1, 2019, after holding the position of Head of the Institutional Clients area for over eight years.

He joined Moneda Asset Management in 2006 with the responsibility of initiating the company’s international growth efforts and diversifying its institutional client base. He played an active role in structuring offshore vehicles for various investment strategies and in distributing them to foreign institutional clients.

Prior to joining Moneda Asset Management, he worked in the investment banking divisions of Grupo Santander and Citigroup in Chile, participating in the structuring and distribution of local capital market transactions.

Alfonso Duval holds a degree in Business and Economics (Ingeniero Comercial) from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
