Karen Thal is a distinguished psychologist from Universidad Católica de Chile, recognized for her leadership in the business sector and her commitment to social research. She currently serves as Chair of the Board at Cadem, is a corporate board director, and is the Past President of ICARE.
Between 2023 and 2024, Thal made history by becoming the first woman to lead the Chilean Institute of Rational Business Administration (ICARE) in its 70-year history. During her tenure, she promoted dialogue between the private sector and civil society, with a focus on economic growth, equity, and inclusion.
