Chief Sustainability Officer, Teck

Journalist with postgraduate studies in Political Science from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She currently serves as Chief Sustainability Officer at Teck Resources Limited, where she leads the global sustainability strategy. With a prominent career in the mining and energy industries, she previously held senior management positions at Teck as Vice President for South America and Vice President of Sustainability and Corporate Affairs, being recognized with the Excellence in Sustainability Award. Before joining Teck, she was Manager of Public and Government Affairs at Methanex Corporation for nearly a decade. Her experience also includes roles in corporate communications at Canal 13 and university teaching at the Universidad del Desarrollo. She is an influential leader in the sector, recognized for bridging the gap between industrial excellence and global sustainability to drive the future of responsible mining.
