Mining Civil Engineer from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, holds an MBA from Curtin University, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is currently Executive President of Anglo American in Chile, leading the company's strategy toward a new sustainable mining model. He has a career path of nearly 20 years in the industry, highlighting his time at BHP, where he held senior positions such as Vice President of Marketing in Singapore and General Manager of Minera Spence in Chile. He began his career in operational and technical roles at companies such as Minera Escondida and Dyno Noble. Additionally, he actively participates in the social and trade association fields as president of the Fundación Primordial, a member of Corporate Leaders for Climate Action (CLG), and of the 30% Club Chile, promoting gender diversity in senior management.
