Alberto Ramos

Economist from the Universidad Católica Portuguesa and Doctor (PhD) in Economics and Finance from the University of Chicago. He is currently Managing Director and Head of LatAm Economics at Goldman Sachs, a position he has held since 2003 based in New York. Previously, he served as Senior Economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington D.C. He is widely recognized as one of the most influential analysts in macroeconomic policy and emerging markets in Latin America, being a voice of reference for global financial media and international economic forums.
