Cristóbal Torres is a Board Member at AFP ProVida, Partner at The Tower Consulting, and has been a Board Member of InBest ChileDay since 2016. He spent 11 years as Chief Investment Officer at AFP ProVida (MetLife), overseeing the management of one of Latin America’s most sophisticated pension funds, with assets exceeding US$45 billion.

Prior to that, he served as Head of Fixed Income & FX at ProVida and led the trading desk and ALM team at MetLife Chile for five years. He also worked at Principal Financial Group in the U.S. as a Senior Financial Analyst, specializing in strategic evaluations. He holds a Civil Industrial Engineering degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA from Yale University.
